Masonic Care Queensland

The provision of aged care services by Masonic Care Queensland has a proud tradition dating back to 1925 when services were first established at the current Sandgate site.  This service was progressively and substantially developed across a number of sites throughout Queensland.  Under the auspices of the Board of Benevolence and of Aged Masons, Widows and Orphans’ Fund, Masonic Care Queensland is now one of the largest not-for-profit providers of aged care services in Queensland.

Masonic Care Queensland brings together under one Board and management structure a range of comprehensive services that included high and low care, independent living and retirement village units, day therapy, specialist dementia care and rented accommodation.  These services are provided to approximately 1200 residents at 10 sites across Queensland employing approximately 700 multidisciplinary staff.  Many volunteers give wonderful support to these activities throughout Queensland and those interested may contact the nearest suitable facility listed in this document.
